Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, July 15th, 2013

Very foggy for the first part of the walk but some good birds were observed, i.e., Indigo Bunting, Blue Grosbeak, 3 Orchard Orioles, Common Yellowthroat, and an Eastern Kingbird on a nest with young. On the beach we had the usual Gulls plus a Lesser Black-backed Gull, and 9 American Oystercatchers. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Steve Weis, Janet Crawford, Catherine Busch, Carrie Bell, and Tom Baxter.
