Cox Hall Creek WMA - Sunday, August 26th, 2012

Following a night of heavy rain, lightining and thunder that stopped at about 6:30 this morning, the birds were hungry and active. Many birds provided an oportunity to study them in the scopes including Bobolink, Blue Grosbeak, Belted Kingfisher, Indigo Bunting, Pine Warbler, Cedar Waxwing, and even a high-in-a-tree Northern Waterthrush.  Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Janet Crawford, Mary Jane & Chuck Slugg, Steve Weis, and Catherine Busch.
