Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012

Lots of terns, waders, and shorebirds around Bunker Pond and the beach. Interesting terns were 4 Black Terns, and the continuing juvenile Gull-billed Tern as well as several Royals. Interesting waders included 1 Little Blue Heron juvenile, and a fly-over Tricolored Heron. Lots of Eastern Kingbirds, several Blue Grosbeaks, Prairie Warbler, American Redstart, and Northern Waterthrush. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Chris Marks, Catherine Busch, Mike Hannisian, and Nancy Watson.
