Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, August 29th, 2012

Shorebirds were hard to find due to high water levels on Bunker Pond. We did get the usual waders, gulls and terns. Six Black and 8 Royal Terns were resting on the beach. The woods had American Redstarts, Red-breasted Nuthatches, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, and Yellow Warblers and a Prairie Warbler. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Chris Marks, Patty Rourke, Nancy Watson, and Steve Weis.
