Cox Hall Creek WMA had a nice variety of 'nice' birds this morning. In addition to the ever-present Eastern Bluebirds and Chipping Sparrows were singing Blue Grosbeaks and Indigo Buntings, several Pine Warblers, American Redstarts, and Blue-gray Gnatcatchers. Many Ruby-throated Hummingbirds are passing through on migration now and several feisty ones were seen chasing each other, titmice and even a Blue Grosbeak. Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Janet Crawford, Mary Jane & Chuck Slugg, Steve Weis, Carrie Bell, and Lynne & Marc Breslow.
