Despite the steady rain, we saw a good number of birds, including Ruddy Ducks, one in breeding plumage, a bathing Clapper Rail, Red-breasted Mergansers, lots of Black-crowned Night-Herons, a Green Heron and a Lesser Black-backed Gull. There were more Semipalmated Sandpipers present today. Leaders: Janet Crawford, Warren Cairo, Chuck Slugg and Shaun Bamford.
