Birds of Belleplain - Thursday, May 23rd, 2013

A breezy morning and the trees leaved out made for some difficulty in finding birds. We heard a number including Louisiana Waterthrush, Red-eyed Vireo, Yellow-throated, Prairie, and Kentucky Warbler. We did however see Prothonotary, Black-and-white, and Pine Warblers, as well as Eastern Wood-Pewee, Eastern Phoebe, Acadian Flycatcher, Great Crested Flycatcher, and Indigo Bunting. Leaders: Bert Hixon, Shaun Bamford, Karl Lukens.
