Higbee Beach Bird Walk - Friday, May 10th, 2013

A super day for all migrants! 13 species of warblers, tanagers, orioles, it was real good birding and just in time for the World Series of Birding. Other birds of interest were 2 fly-over Red-headed Woodpeckers; Eastern Wood-Pewees; Blue-headed, Red-eyed, White-eyed, and Yellow-throated Vireos, and a couple of Chats singing in territory.  Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, Warren Cairo, Roger Horn, Catherine Busch, Lisa Ryan, and Hugh Simmons.
