Chilly, foggy, drizzly weather greeted walkers for EZ Birding. In spite of this we saw some good birds. Highlights include: Blue Grosbeak and Indigo Bunting sitting next to each other on the ground and Eastern Bluebird in a tree (a clean sweep for "The Blues Brothers"); Glossy Ibis; flying flocks of shorebirds such as Short-billed Dowitchers, Willets, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, and Least Sandpipers; American Oystercatchers on nest; Piping Plover in exclosure and one feeding at a plover pond; and Forster's Terns everywhere. Leader: Chuck Slugg.
