Field Trip Reports: Belleplain Wildlife

A cool and cloudy spring day at the Tarkiln Pond area of Belleplain State Forest found more birds than insects flying about. The group enjoyed good looks at American Redstart, Eastern Phoebe, and Wood Duck. Flowering plants included Canadian Toadflax and Lowbush Blueberries.
