A beautiful, but windy, afternoon at The Meadows yielded some interesting birds. Highlights include: three Swallow-tailed Kites in one binocular view; a Ruddy Duck; a Tricolored Heron; a number of American Oystercatchers with one on nest; both Common and Red-throated Loons; and a Piping Plover calling but not seen.
