E-Z Birding - Tuesday, September 8th, 2015

We started off our post-Labor Day walk with enjoying the migration phenomenon of Bobolinks feeding in the reeds in front of Bunker Pond and then taking flight overhead close enough to be seen and not just heard giving their characteristic "bink" call.  We then surveyed the beach and made our way around the park. We saw and heard a Caspian Tern in flight, discussed eclipse plumage ducks on Bunker Pond including four Blue-winged Teal, and enjoyed extended looks at feeding and perched Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. Leaders: Catherine Busch and Chris Marks.
