We had intermittent rain and sun, but we missed the major storms. At the duck blind, we saw Mallards and Blue-winged Teal. There was a Great Blue Heron in Lighthouse Pond East. In the woods, Gray Catbirds were mewing, Carolina Wrens were scolding, and Carolina Chickadees were giving their alarm call. We added Wood Duck in the back pond. Raptors were scarce, but we saw a perched Red-tailed Hawk with one red tail feather and several Osprey. The leaders saw a Peregrine Falcon migrating before the start of the walk and Caspian Terns were also present. We all had good looks at Royal Terns. Leaders: Chuck Slugg and Warren Cairo.
