Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, September 7th, 2015

A few warblers were seen in the shrubs near the parking lot including Prairie, Yellow, and Common Yellowthroat. A couple of folks briefly saw a Sora disappear in the cattails. Several Lesser Black-backed Gulls were on the beach as well as a American Oystercatcher and a flock of Black Skimmers. The continuing Buff-breasted Sandpiper was located on the island east of the east path. Leaders: Chuck Slugg, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, Janet Crawford, Deb Payson, and Pat Perkins.
