A beautiful, warm spring afternoon provided the setting for our walk and many birds were taking advantage of it. Highlights include: numerous Osprey; lots of swallows including Purple Martins, Tree, Barn, and Northern Rough-winged; warblers including Palm, Pine, Common Yellowthroat, and Myrtle in splendid plumage; adult and sub-adult Bald Eagle; and some very vocal American Oystercatchers. Leaders: Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Cindy Bamford, Deb Payson, Marc & Lynne Breslow, Catherine Busch, and Chris Marks.
