Spring Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, April 26th, 2014

Cool and breezy morning with some bird activity. The Willow Pond had four Black-Crowned Night-Herons and an adult Little Blue Heron. Smaller birds consisted of Blue-headed, and White-eyed Vireos, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Palm, and Yellow-rumped Warblers, and two Prothonotary Warblers--one singing. Savannah and Field Sparrows were also present. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Catherine Busch, Carrie Bell, Deb Payson, and Michael McCabe.
