Higbee Beach Birding - Friday, September 7th, 2012

It was an active day at Higbee today. Raptors included 2 Norther Harriers, one interacting with a Cooper's Hawk, plus 6 Osprey. There were numerous Eastern Kingbirds, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo, and 2 Philadelphia Vireos. Fourteen species of warblers were seen including 2 Tennessee, 2 Nashville, and 2 Magnolia. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Warren Cairo, Chris Marks, and Catherine Busch.
