Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, September 10th, 2012

Northerly winds seemed to have brought some migrants with a number of warblers and other passerines flying about. Warblers included American Redstarts, Yellow, Common Yellowthroats, and Palm. Lots of Bobolinks overhead. Raptors were good with Northern Harrier, Cooper's Hawk, Broad-wings, Merlin, and numerous American Kestrel. Ducks included both Teal and Northern Shoveler. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Steve Weis, Catherine Busch, Carrie Bell, and Janet Crawford.
