Cool, sunny weather for EZ Birding brought a nice variety of raptors overhead and many Monarchs as well as other butterfly species nectaring on plants throughout the State Park. Raptor highlights include: many Osprey, Broad-winged Hawks, Red-tailed and Red-shouldered Hawks, Bald Eagle, Northern Harrier, American Kestrels, and Peregrine Falcon. A lone Spotted Sandpiper by Bunker Pond ended the walk. Leaders: Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Janet Crawford, Bill & Lee Smythe.
