The Hawks, Trails, and Beach Walk had a beautiful, but windy, afternoon in the State Park. We saw a variety of terns on the beach and Bunker Pond including Common, Forster's, Royal, and Black Terns. We had excellent looks at both male and female Blue Grosbeaks. We ended with a family of American Kestrels hunting and perching along Lighthouse Pond. Leaders: Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Cindy Bamford, and Lynne Breslow.
