Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, May 7th, 2012

Water in the Meadows is rather high for shorebirds but we still managed Semipalmated Plover, Killdeer, Least Sandpiper and Willet along with the usual beach birds American Oystercatcher and Piping Plover. A flock of Black Skimmers were at the 2nd Ave. jetty. Lots of Osprey overhead. Leaders:  Pete Dunne, Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Catherine Busch, and Marc & Lynne Breslow.
