Back Bay Birding by Boat on The Osprey - Sunday, May 27th, 2012

The beach in the harbor was chock full of birds gorging on Horseshoe Crab Eggs. Hundreds of Turnstones and Semipalmated Sandpipers made a frenzy of activity on the beach. A nice array of herons showed up in Turtle Creek, and included a Black-crowned Night-Heron, a Green Heron and a Tri-colored Heron! Leaders:  Bob Lubberman and David Lord.
