Spring Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, April 19th, 2014

Still early for most migrants but we did have a good flyover of waders including Great Blue Heron, Great and Snowy Egrets, Green and Tricolored Herons and 4 perched Black-Crowned Night-Herons. Warblers are still not here in numbers, but there were numerous Blue-gray Gnatcatchers and Yellow-rumped Warbler, the latter singing, and also a Common Yellowthroat. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Kathy & Roger Horn, Catherine Busch, and Nancy Watson.
