Higbee Beach - Friday, September 2nd, 2016

Higbee was alive with moving migrants today with many American Redstarts, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Bobolinks, and Baltimore Orioles most often seen. Several juvenile White-eyed Vireos (with dark eyes) perched and fed in full view, and a flyover Whimbrel was a surprise. The perched Bobolinks feeding in the first field were a special treat. Leaders: Brett Ewald, Chris Marks, Catherine Busch, Mary Watkins, Deb Payson, & Kirsten Fuller.
