Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, September 19th, 2016

Even with the threat of rain, we had 39 people show up for the walk. Interestingly we actually had more participants than species of birds! Shore birds were scarce, but we did see Lesser Black-backed Gulls and both Royal and Caspian Terns. Large numbers of swarming Tree Swallows were overhead. Another interesting bird was la one Common Eider not too far off shore. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Chuck Slugg, Karl Lukens, Janet Crawford, and Pat Perkins.
