Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, August 29, 2016

The Meadows is very dry with only a trickle of water and large areas of short grassy lands, which is good for "Grasspipers". We did find three Buff-breasted Sandpipers with Least Sandpipers, Semipalmated Plovers, and Killdeer. The beach had one Lesser Black-backed Gull, Sanderlings, and American Oystercatchers. Leaders: Chuck Slugg, Karl Lukens, Pat Perkins, Steve Weis, and Mary Watkins.
