We spent a lot of time on the beach observing gulls and terns. The terns included Common, Forster's, Royal, and at least four Black Terns all in juvenile plumage. The other terns were in plumages varying from breeding to non-breeding and in-between. On Bunker Pond we also had Least and Semipalmated Sandpipers, mostly in juvenile plumage. Finally, we returned to the parking lot when the rain got heavy. Leaders: Warren Cairo and Karl Lukens.
