Hawks, Trails, and Beach - Saturday, September 3rd, 2016

In spite of Tropical Storm Hermine, we had an interesting walk. Wind was blowing but rain had let up. We had a variety of terns including Royal, Common, Forster's, Sandwich, and Black. We had Glossy Ibis and Green Heron within ten feet of us madly feeding before the storm. We saw several raptors including an American Eagle, Osprey, Red-tailed Hawk, and a perched Peregrine Falcon. Leaders: Chuck Slugg and Bert Hixon.
