Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, September 5th, 2016

A cool and breezy morning with some sun. Two warbler species were seen, Yellow and Common Yellowthroat. On the beach we had two Lesser Black-backed Gulls and one fly-by Brown Pelican. Raptors included Merlin, Peregrine Falcon, Cooper's Hawk, Northern Harrier, and Bald Eagle. Highlight was a continuing Baird's Sandpiper seen well by all in scopes. Leaders: Chuck Slugg, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, and Pat Perkins.
