Breeding Birds at the Rea Farm - Saturday, June 14th, 2014

A beautiful day with good breeding birds to view. Some of the breeders seen were multiple Indigo Buntings, Blue Grosbeak, Yellow-breasted Chat, Orchard Oriole, Great Crested Flycatcher, and Yellow-billed Cuckoo. Additionally we had several fly-over Wood Ducks, a perched Black-Crowned Night-Heron, and a Bald Eagle. We also had brief, but good, looks at a singing Prothonotary Warbler. Leaders: Warren Cairo, Karl Lukens, Carrie Bell, Cindy Bamford, and Claudia Burns.
