Bird Walk for All People - Saturday, May 31st, 2014

The weather was beautiful with temperatures in the low 70s, sun with a few clouds, and a light wind, but the birds, especially in the woods were quiet. Highlights of the walk include: Yellow-throated Warbler; Blue Grosbeak; good looks at a Tricolored Heron; many Osprey overhead; a Dunlin in the Plover Pond; quite a few American Oystercatchers; and Black Skimmers on the beach. Leaders: Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Cindy Bamford, Marc & Lynne Breslow, and Tom Baxter.
