Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, June 16th, 2014

A nice day and good birding. From the parking lot area, we had Indigo Bunting, Blue Grosbeak, Orchard Oriole, Eastern Kingbird, and fly-by Green Heron and Black-Crowned Night-Heron. The pair of American Oystercatchers are still looking after one chick. A few shorebirds still remain including a couple of Semipalmated Sandpipers, a few Short-billed Dowitchers, and a pair of Willets with three chicks. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Warren Cairo, Steve Weis, Catherine Busch, Carrie Bell, and Mary Watkins.
