Higbee Beach Bird Walk - Friday, May 31st, 2013

Warm and quiet and not real birdy. We took an interesting route down the three fields and the dune trail to Davey's Lake. Got the usual suspects, Indigo Bunting, Blue Grosbeak, Yellow-breasted Chat, and Prairie Warbler. Of note were a pair of Northern Fence Lizards on a Cedar stump, the male showing off his bright blue throat and belly. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Warren Cairo, and Catherine Busch.
