Birding the Meadows - Monday, June 17th, 2013

We enjoyed some good birding from the parking lot this morning where we had Blue Grosbeak, Indigo Bunting, Orchard Oriole, and Yellow-breasted Chat all perched and singing for nice scope views. On the beach we had 3 pairs of American Oystercatchers and 1 chick as well as 2 Piping Plover with 1 on nest, and a few Least Terns. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Catherine Busch, Janet Crawford, and Carrie Bell.
