Birding the Meadows - Monday, June 10th, 2013

Visibility and bird activity were low due to the fog. On the beach we had 2 adults and a chick American Oystercatcher, and a Piping Plover on nest. From the parking lot area we had scope views of Blue Grosbeak and Indigo Bunting. Of note were 3 different Willow Flycatchers, 2 with scope views, all doing "Fitz-Bew". Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Warren Cairo, Catherine Busch, Carrie Bell, and Tom Reed.
