Breeding Birds at the Rea Farm - Saturday, June 23rd, 2012

Interesting birds were 11 sightings (probably 6-8 birds) of Green Heron, 2 fly-over Hairy Woodpeckers, and 2 Prothonotary Warblers, one gave us good looks. Most interesting were 2 Horned Larks flying back to the same spot presumably with food. One flew out with a fecal sac, good confirmation of nesting! Leaders: Karl Lukens, Kathy & Roger Horn, Warren Cairo, and Catherine Busch.
