Warren Cairo et. al. report:
Wednesday evening's walk at the meadows began with threatening sky's and a Common Nighthawk seen from the parking lot. The west path afforded good looks at Wilson Snipe, Pectoral sandpipers and two Sora's calling right near us but remaining unseen. The low cloud cover and the setting sun limited visibility but we were able to locate a number of immature Black-crowned Night herons before ending the walk. The rain held off but the mosquito's were plentiful. All in all a pleasant walk.
