Adult Lesser Black-backed Gull amonst a nice mix of Great Black-backed, American Herring, Laughing and Ring-billed Gulls. Still no-one can tell me why gulls stare at the ground around their feet so much! [Photo by Mike Crewe]

Nice variety of birds this morning with numerous raptors, waders, and ducks. Highlights were an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull and a fly-over Hudsonian Godwit and four distant Brown Pelicans. We also had a leader and a few others hear a Sora and a nice sighting of a "green Budgie" on the wires with Starlings!!
