Mike Fritz et. al. report:
Location: Stone Harbor Point
Observation date: 9/28/10
Notes: Sunset Birding at Stone Harbor walk. Very windy (SW at 20 knots), but at least the rain stopped for us. Highlights were a Piping Plover that walked right up to the group, a first of season Junco on Nummy, Marbled Godwits and Pelicans on a sandbar, good views of Clapper Rail in the open, and a pair of Savannah Sparrows out feeding on a mudflat like shorebirds.
