Spring Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, May 23rd, 2015

This week, we found that a lot of the breeding birds are all settled in. Blue Grosbeak, Indigo Bunting, Prothonotary Warbler, Great-crested Flycatcher and Yellow-breasted Chat are on territories, providing a nice mix of sight and sound. Flycatchers were well represented also with a singing Eastern Phoebe, Eastern Wood-Pewee, Eastern Kingbird and the already-mentioned Great Crested Flycatcher. Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Karl Lukens, Deb Payson, and Carrie Bell.
