It was a fine spring day in Belleplain. Birds were easily heard, but difficult to see, however we got wonderful looks at Hooded Warbler and a recently returned Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Other recent spring migrants--Wood Thrush and Eastern Wood-Pewee--were wonderful additions to the swelling numbers of bird song surrounding us. Leaders: Shaun Bamford, Bert Hixon, Chris Marks, BJ Pinnock, and Tom Gleason.
