Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, May 4th, 2015

A nice spring morning and some good birds even before leaving the parking lot. From there we had Eastern Kingbird, Blue Grosbeak, and Orchard Oriole. A few shorebirds either flying or on pond edges including both yellowlegs, Solitary Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, Willet, and Semipalmated Plover. Several newly arrived Least Terns were seen and American Oystercatchers, one of which appeared to be on nest. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Chuck Slugg, and Karl Lukens.
