A fantastic ten-warbler day for our final Belleplain walk of the season. Great looks were had of Ovenbird, Acadian Flycatcher and Yellow-throated Warblers to name a few. We were able to see the nests of Wood Thrush, Summer Tanager, and Blue-gray Gnatcatchers. The group was fascinated by a Great Blue Heron at Sunset Bridge hunting frogs. A Yellow-breasted Chat and Blue-winged Warbler sat up to sing. What a fabulous way to end the season! Leaders: Shaun Bamford, Bert Hixon, Chris Marks, and BJ Pinnock.
