Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, November 23rd, 2013

A cold breezy morning with quiet spots and little patches of birds here and there. Of interest were twelve Rusty Blackbirds in the wet woods trees at the parking lot. Also had a couple of Brown Creepers, an Eastern Phoebe, Golden-crowned Kinglets all in the wet woods, and a couple of Fox Sparrows, with White-throats, and Juncos. Most interesting was a late lingering Blue-gray Gnatcatcher in the back field that abuts Pond Creek Farm. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Kathy & Roger Horn, and Catherine Busch.
