Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, November 4th, 2013

Lots of ducks this morning including Gadwall, Mallard, Black Duck, Northern Shoveler, Northern Pintail, Green-winged Teal, Ring-necked Duck, and off shore Black and Surf Scoter, and Northern Gannets. Good raptors overhead with both Black and Turkey Vultures, Northern Harrier, Sharp-shinned and Cooper's Hawks, Bald Eagle, Red-shouldered and Red-tailed Hawks. Finally the highlight was a flock of ten White Pelicans that drifted from over the Beanery to the Point and out over the bay. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Steve Weis, and Catherine Busch.
