Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, November 6th, 2013

There were lots of ducks around including Gadwall, Mallard, American Wigeon, Northern Shoveler, Northern Pintail, Green-winged Teal, Ring-necked, a Lesser Scaup, Ruddy, as well as Black, Surf, and White-winged Scoter, and three fly-by Common Eiders. The most unusual duck was a Long-tailed Duck on Bunker Pond!! We also had two Lesser Black-backed Gulls on the beach and four American Pipits on the dunes in the grass. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Megan Crewe, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, and Chris Marks.
