Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, November 9th, 2013

We had good raptors overhead with both Black and Turkey Vultures, Bald and Golden Eagle, a couple of Red-shouldered Hawks - one perched, also Red-tailed, Sharp-shinned, and Merlin. Woodpeckers included two Red-bellied, three Downy, three Norther Flicker, and three Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers. Lots of Eastern Bluebirds with good views perched in trees. Sparrows were Song, Swamp, Field, Savannah, Chipping and four Vesper perched up for good scope views. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Kathy & Roger Horn, and Catherine Busch.
