Highlights of the Hawks, Trails, and Beach walk include many species of ducks such as Mallards, American Wigeon, Gadwall, Northern Shovelers, Pintails, Ruddy Ducks, Green-winged Teal, and Lesser Scaup. Other waterfowl included Coot and Pied-billed Grebes. We saw plenty of Yellow-rumped Warblers, Golden-crowned Kinglets, and Brown Creepers as we walked through the park.
