EZ Birding - Tuesday, November 6th, 2012

The EZ Birding walk at Two Mile Beach Unit of the Cape May NWR had a couple of big surprises following Superstorm Sandy. In addition to the usual Great Blue Herons, and Great and Snowy Egrets we had a Little Blue Heron and a Tri-colored Heron. Northern Pintails and Hooded Mergansers have joined the ducks on the saltwater pan. From the beach we observed lines of scoter, Northern Gannets, and both Common and Red-throated Loons. Leaders:  Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, and Bill & Lee Smythe.
