This morning's walk at Cox Hall Creek WMA was bright with Eastern Bluebirds, Blue Jays and American Goldfinches. A few Purple Finches were scattered throughout as were Swamp, Chipping, Field, White-throated, and Song Sparrows, and a single White-crowned Sparrow. Flocks of blackbirds included several Rusty Blackbirds. Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Shaun Bamford, Lynn & Marc Breslow, Joe Demko, Mary Jane & Chuck Slugg, and Steve Weis.
